On arrival at the site you will be strapped into the Sphere for your ride. Hang on tight and expect to feel dizzy when you reach the bottom. You will both share the Sphere and will have one roll down the hill. The experience involves G-forces similar to a fairground ride as such it is not recommended for the elderly or infirm. The idea behind air orbing is that you enter an 8 foot inflatable orb inside a wind tunnel. The wind tunnel then reaches speeds of up to 150mph and you float, spin and fly your way in this tunnel. Air orbing is the newest adrenaline rush to hit the UK and is an experience NOT to be missed.

You will arrive on site for a quick briefing and will receive all necessary instruction. All the necessary equipment is provided. The two or three riders will enter the inflatable Sphere together and take their positions. Maximum weight 18 stone per rider. As long as you are in a reasonable state of health and are over 10 years of age. You should wear casual clothes, ideally a t-shirt without a collar, and lace-up trainers are mandatory.

Aqua orbing involves getting in the giant orb (or sphere), inside the orb bucket worth of soapy water is added. You are then rolled down the hill slipping, sloaping and splashing your way down the ride. The whole time you will be sliding over the inside of the ball. Many people actually enjoy the aqua orbing more than the harness orbing as the aqua orbing is freeer as you aren’t attached to the inside of the orb.

This was the funniest thing we’ve ever done. It was impossible to stand with the bubbly water in the orb, or to have any modicum of control. There was only one thing for it – just lay back and laugh hysterically in the human washing machine. – David S.

You can also so Aqua Orbing for Two which is even funner with two people. You will be able to share the laughs and probably flip and flop over top of each other. A great first date, time with family or time with a friend!
